Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site keep you signed in, remember actions you take, and function reliably across page loads. This policy explains the cookies Capital Formation Intelligence uses and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary (authentication and session). When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets cookies that keep you logged in and maintain your session as you move through the platform. These cookies are essential — the platform cannot function without them, and they are not used for advertising or tracking.
Analytics (sets no cookies). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and referrers so we can see which pages are useful. It sets no cookies.
Advertising (LinkedIn Insight Tag). Our public marketing pages carry the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which we use to measure LinkedIn advertising campaigns. It is served by LinkedIn and sets LinkedIn’s own cookies in your browser, including cookies LinkedIn uses to match visitors to an advertising audience. Those are LinkedIn’s cookies under LinkedIn’s cookie policy; you can manage them through your LinkedIn ad settings or your browser. The tag does not load on the signed-in application or on the sign-in and password reset pages.
We set no first-party analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies of our own. The only cookies we set are the strictly necessary authentication and session cookies described above, and we do not combine them with advertising data to profile your browsing.
Some pages embed content from third parties — for example, the newsletter-subscription form on our home page (Substack) and the application form (Tally). When such content loads, the third party may set its own cookies under its own cookie and privacy policies, over which we have no control. If you do not interact with that embedded content, you can review the provider’s policy directly to understand and manage those cookies.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or remove cookies, or warn you before one is set. Because our authentication cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in and using your account. Controls for third-party cookies are governed by the respective provider and your browser.
We may update this Cookie Policy as the platform evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
